FALL BITES: TURKEY DAY TREATS

Dress your desserts in serious style with our fast and easy paper party DIY details. Move over traditional pumpkin pie...these sweet treats will steal the show.

Our favorite trend: Apple of my Pie. Add a ribbon to your favorite recipe (or bakery recipe), tuck in a few stems of fresh rosemary, and add our You're the Apple of my Pie tag for the perfect hostess gift or thoughtful dessert.

Next, nothing says fun like our Party Cones. Fill with seasonal sweets or savory treats, like spiced caramel corn, chocolate and butterscotch covered pretzels, candy corn, macaron and more.

My sweet Gigi always had tiny cornucopia at each placesetting for Thanksgiving filled with candy corn. (I'm pretty sure I ate every piece of candy corn before the turkey and gravy was even passed around the table). These pretty cones remind me of her cherished family tradition. Tiny fig cakes? Yes please.

Slice a fresh fig in half, place ontop your favorite cupcake recipe. Voila.

Crostadas are another family favorite recipe - my dad makes the most delicious peach blueberry recipe. It's as easy as frozen pie crust unrolled, and filled with your favorite fruits and fillings. Serve up mini crostada with apples, cinnamon and pecans, and top with our party picks for a pop of color.

For a fast and delicious hors'douevre, dip red grapes in caramel, then roll in chopped pecans. So easy and sweet savory all at the same time. Click here to shop Flag Party Picks.

Another favorite hostess gift, chocolate chip banana bread. Bake mini loaves in paper pans and wrap with ribbon, tag with our Gobble it Up tags. Tuck a wooden fork in to finish.

Top that apple nut tart with a pretty pennant for the finishing touch. Click here to shop Pennants.

Whoopie Pies go pumpkin spice - and look extra sweet wrapped with parchment "ribbons" and our Thankful for You picks. These are a perfect accent to each placesetting at the holiday table.

Last up - everything looks holiday chic with a Bay Leaf garnish. Add our Tall Toppers for the finishing touch. Click here to shop Tall Toppers.

Cheers to Thanksgiving - one more week!

The little details here are what make it feel special — rosemary tucked into the ribbon is such a nice touch, and the cones are way more charming than dumping snacks in a bowl. Also, mini desserts are underrated for big dinners because you can actually try more than one without committing. This totally has me thinking about color themes too (like a soft summer color palette) and how a consistent vibe makes everything look “put together,” kind of like StyleLookLab does for outfits. I’m saving the fig-on-cupcake trick for the next potluck.

I’m into any Thanksgiving dessert idea that looks “extra” but doesn’t require extra time — the tag + ribbon + herb trick is honestly doing a lot of work here. The mini fruit crostadas also seem like a good way to avoid the sad-soggy pie slice situation. If I can’t find the exact tag style, I might just mock up something simple with https://imgg.ai and print it on cardstock, because the presentation is half the fun.

The caramel-dipped grapes with pecans are such a good sweet/savory bite for people who don’t want another full slice of pie. I also like that most of these ideas are basically “assembly,” not baking from scratch — super realistic for the day-of. Side note, the whole “submit ai tool” trend is everywhere right now, and I swear it feels like the internet version of tagging everything for a party table, a bit like hrefgo does. Anyway, I’m definitely trying the cones with spiced caramel corn.

Tiny fig cakes are such a smart shortcut — they look fancy but it’s basically “add one ingredient and done.” I’m also stealing the rosemary-on-the-box idea for any store-bought pie I bring, because it instantly reads homemade. Random aside: the “wrap it nicely and it feels more special” thing is kind of like using a Vigenere cipher tool for class demos — same content, but presented in a way that feels more intentional.

Those mini crostadas sound like the perfect “do-ahead” dessert when the oven’s already overloaded on Thanksgiving. The cone idea also hits that nostalgic candy-corn vibe without having to build a whole centerpiece. For some reason it reminded me of winding down after cooking with quick puzzle stuff like free block puzzle game when you just want something brain-off for five minutes, then back to the dishes.
