Oh, summer. Do you have to end? One of our favorite tables, ever ever, was our party at Union Station, full of hundreds of hydrangea covering tables and cascading down to the floor.
The timeless palette of white, green and grey with hints of silver and gold metallics created a soft, neutral look and feel across the 1925 Union Station Great Hall limestone interior.
A Tuscan feast themed menu reflected the bride and groom's personal love for all things Italy - from hand crafted Spritz cocktails to Tiramisu wedding cake.
A true work of wedding art...non?
A trio of Italian themed cocktails, anyone?
First up: his. The Groom's Negroni, made with local Chicago Real Russian Vodka, campari, orange and lemon.
Second, hers. The Bride's Fizz with prosecco, strawberry, rosemary, citrus.
And of course, the Perfect Pair. Vodka, ginger, pear, and thyme.
Tiny hand wrapped bites were passed featuring pear, pecorino and basil.
Beautiful herb goat cheese stuffed peppers, topped with capers, and passed on mirror trays.
Tuscan harvest salads with kale, proscuitto, berries and feta created the perfect first course.
Baci Perugina - Italy's famous chocolate - were turned into teeny tiny cupcakes for late night sweets.
And what would an Italian wedding celebration be without limoncello to end the feast?
Ciao bella - a presto - see you soon!
