THANKSGIVING STYLE: DIY PUMPKINS

Let our hearts be full of both thanks and giving...and our tables full of diy pumpkin everything. Let's go.

First up: the gilded pumpkin vase.

Choose any size pumpkin for a floral vase, and spray paint the pumpkin in gold. Let dry.

Carve the top off the pumpkin, and carve out the pulp and seeds, to form a hollow opening.

Insert a waterproof container inside, a vase, or large deep bowl. Fill with water.

Using your favorite holiday blooms, fill the pumpkin "vase" to create a festive centerpiece on tables, bar, and more.

Here we chose a mix of autumnal yellow and orange with hints of peach and pink. Stems include our favorite Garden Roses, Ranunculus, Spray Roses, Hypericum Berry, Billy Balls, Summer Stock, and Viburnum.

Next, painted mini jack o littles in soft, sorbet pastels is a favorite Thanksgiving look.

Spray paint in colors to compliment your home decor, fresh floral blooms, or favorite colors.

Pro tip:

Set the table with seasonal tabletop accents like amber and gold rimmed glass, gold flatware and more to ring in the Thanksgiving feast.

Stylist secret:

Add placecards to mini pumpkins for a thoughtful, personal touch at each placesetting. These are especially sweet when handwritten by the kids, and help gather the whole family around the table, working together and creating family traditions en masse.

Swoon - the ultimate Thanksgiving table.

Love the pops of gold, adding so much warmth and glamour.

Yet another fresh take on pumpkins, a painted collection paired with crystal candlesticks. Top candlesticks with votives, or taper candles,

And the perfect look down the mantle includes mini pumpkins, votive candles and pops of color in mini vases with fresh blooms.

One more week - how are you setting your tables this season? Please share - we'd love to see - and celebrate together.
