THANKSGIVING: CROSTINI BAR

Just a few more days til Thanksgiving...and we're sharing our favorite fast, fabulous, no cook holiday appetizer. Ready?

Allow us to introduce The Crostini Bar. A super star of a bite - and so colorful beautiful - as guests arrive to holiday away.

Step 1:

Grab some boards or platters to layer the big elements, and some small bowls to hold the smaller stuff.

Step 2:

Print off our Crostini Shopping List pdf, by clicking here.

Pro tip:

We're in the grocery several times a day, and expert opinion in multiple stores says make sure you finish your Thanksgiving shopping by 9 am on Tuesday. Did you know that? Wowee.

Start with your big board, and create the centerpiece of the bar with your big pretty toppings: cheeses, salamis, and lots of carefully "piled" accents like berries, pickles, tomatoes, apples, herbs and more.

Stylist secret:

Cut a wedge off the brie, exposing the interior, to help add color and interest to the display, then top with a drizzle of honey.

Ontop burrata, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley and red pepper flakes.

Make sure to slice open some fruit and veg or a pop of fresh color: figs, tomatoes, strawberries.

On the smaller board, pile toasts and smaller toppings, and in bowls olives, stuffed cherry peppers, avocado or guacamole, hummus, and more.

Last but not least, make sure to premake several bites or toasts, mixing various schmears and toppings and display them for guest inspiration.

Now print off your shopping list, or customize your own lists to match your tastes, and let's get going on Thanksgiving 2020.
