OMBRÉ STYLE: BRUNCH PARTY

The hottest design trend for fall? Brights. Vivid, loud pops of gorgeous, delicious color.

One word: yum.

Trend two - details. Handpainted menus, Ranunculus placecards, gilded vases and votives.

Trend three - texture - and lots of it. Fluffy ranunculus, garden roses, mimosa, peony and more. Don't you just want to reach out and touch?

Moving on to other news - the bar.

Rosé is no longer a summer sip -- non, non -- it's a lifestyle. And champagne is always in season.

Brunch bites may well be our favorite recipes to create and share. There is something light, and sunny and playful about an early morning meet up, non?

Above, our autumnal take on a caprese salad, with fresh mozza slices, peach slices, proscuitto slices, fresh basil and blackberries. Simply place each item on the board one by one, overlapping, for a beautiful, picture perfect salad.

Crudité - you just can't throw a pretty party without it. Much like the jaw dropping flowers, a colorful veg board creates its own decor and becomes the buffet centerpiece.

Mini bagels and lox, complete with herbed cream cheese, red onions, capers, fresh dill and chives. These are always the number one bite of the party.

Now trending: the donut mirror. Using stick hooks, apply even rows to the clean surface of your mirror. Just before guests arrive, hang donuts for guests to grab, and enjoy.

Brunch sweets - tiny mini bites in eclairs, macaron, chocolates, cupcakes and tarts. The smaller, the sweeter, and the easier to eat.

A big beautiful cake creates a gorgeous sweets table focal point - and doubles as dessert when sliced and served.

Teeny tiny black raspberry cakes - ooh la la - yes please.

Cheers to color - and beautiful brunch fun with friends and family.
