2020 PARTY TRENDS: DISCO

It's Friday. And here's how to enjoy it.

Our favorite 2020 party trend: disco everything. Gather your girlfriends, the boys, neighbors, even the kids. This is a perfect, happy theme for all the generations.

Girl, put your records on - and let's celebrate life. And the weekend. And spring coming in hot...oh so soon.

For a casual gathering - BYOR - bring your own records - and setup a records bar. Friends can take turns and play their favorites throughout the night.

Create a DIY disco bar with golden bottles, disco ball cups, and silvery balloon accents. And what goes well with cocktails? Cocktail candy: champagne, prosecco and rosé gummy candies displayed in jars, for guests to taste and enjoy throughout the night.

Create a fun entrance and photo backdrop as guests arrive, with a collection of balloons and disco phrases spelled out - Roll with It, Disco made me do it, etc.

Always a fast and easy style moment: letter boards, available at craft stores, home stores, etc.

And nothing says disco like rollerskates - and furry pom poms - making the perfect photo opp for guests.

Best idea ever for the teen parties: disco ball balloons. The glass mirror disco balls break everytime they drop...never a good idea with the kids.

Mini metallic and glitter filled balloons create disco vibes in collections down tables with votives and bud vases of fresh blooms.

And we all know every disco queen needs an epic sparkler candle on the cake...

Disco is universal. It began from the music that was popular on dance floors in clubs that started playing records instead of having live bands. And so it continues - rock that playlist.

Always a favorite party moment - gather the group for a quick toast to friends, shake up that champagne, and pop open for a big, splashy, joyful moment.

Cheers to all the Friday feels - pop that champagne - throw that confetti - and let's toast!
