Word to the wise.

A cocktail party, where you are surrounded by glowing, ethereal, liquid
gastronomy is no place for an empty stomach.

At any given point in time last night at Aviary, we had a minimum of six
cocktails lined up for tastings on our table.

Every time I scanned Aviary there were at least four servers passing trays
of the most gorgeous drinks you have ever seen.

Mindblowing in their execution.

Half the cocktail frozen vertically, the other half liquid.

Say what?

What a party!

It was, a word, simply divine.

The creations out of this world.

The colors, the flavors, the presentations, the live art of creation in the
kitchen.

I tell you – there was a whole lotta shakin’ going on back there.

I await Aviary manager Marlon’s detailed ingredient by ingredient, infusion
by infusion menu via email.

There was simply no possible way over the throngs of high style guests and
booty shaking music to digest every highly complicated menu item.

At best, I caught about 1/3 of what they said, as I forced servers to hold
trays steady in dim lighting for their close ups.

One of my many favorites? These glowing bars, set with bright, bold
infused punch bowls, ready for guests to self serve and sample amongst the
wonderment.

This was the Margarita – which won third place on Mike’s drinks list.
