Walking through the Garden District on West 28th Street provides real deal eye candy.
For two blocks from Seventh to Fifth Avenues, this is New York’s Wholesale Floral Row.
Windows are dressed with wonderful vignettes of dried, lacquered, sculpted, fresh, arranged…all in plain view.
My only complaint?
The tropical and topiary storefronts are so hot house humid – the windows are covered in steam.
I have to actually slow down, and open the door, just to sneak a peek of the intoxicating inspirations, tabletops and shelves lining the walls inside.
So love.
