I have a secret.
I haven’t even been able to share it.
I was too worried it wouldn’t come true.
But TODAY is the day.
In just a few hours to be exact.
My only Christmas wish is coming true.
Today our family is getting a new addition.
A very, very special new baby.
A FRENCH baby!
Delivered all the way from Lacanche.
Near Beaune, in la belle Burgandy.
A 350 pound french Lacanche baby.
And guess what?
Lacanche has been handmaking, via manual assembly, these babies since the
18th Century, in this very village.
Each Lacanche is made to order, custom designed, piece by piece, each
element placed just for it’s chef and kitchen.
Warming cupboard here, storage cupboard there (yes, inside the stove!),
simmer plate, gas or electric oven…
