Cafe au Lait bowls from my honeymoon in the south of France…
(A la Julianne Migely et Jon Marc Horton, meany a year later and still always and forever merci beaucoup!)
Filled with the heavenly scent of spiced cider simmering on the stove as guests enter.
Fresh organic Cider, star anise, whole cloves and cinnamon sticks simmer for an hour.
Add a splish splash of spiced rum for a bit of a wintery nip, if so inclined.
Garnish each "bowl" with a cinnamon stick, sliced clementines, Pom Poms (pomegranate seeds) and fresh cranberry.
Simply the perfect family tradition.
