As you may already have guessed, I have a one track travel mind.
My entire daily schedule is often intricately researched, plotted and planned to the nth detail, always revolving around fabulous food trends.
So, it shouldn’t surprise that we popped from Laduree’s Left Bank immediately to Pont des Arts for a family pique nique sunset rendezvous.
Walking from the patisserie on rue Jacob to the market street rue de Buci, we snapped up Baguettes and our favorite petite Finacier at Eric Kayser (and inside the manager told me I can now buy his baguettes at Whole Foods – you must go try them), olives, cornichon, chevre, comte, tapenades and Mike’s favorite chocolat noir for dessert.
All paired with our favorite house cuvee from Spring, a perfect, chilled Champagne.
