This giant George Clooney, boating a la Lake Como, decorates the south side of Le Louvre where construction resides.
It is across the street from our apartment, just before La Tour Eiffel comes into view at Pont des Arts.
For weeks on end all summer I have overheard the funniest female comments from the sidewalk.
"Where is the Eiffel Tower? All I see is George Clooney."
"On second thought, he’s more beautiful to look at then the Eiffel Tower anyway."
"They aren’t removing George Clooney when construction ends, right?"
"Ici et – here is – George Clooney, the most talked about landmark in Paris."
