While wandering along in Montmartre, I fell in love.
It was through the vitrine – window of a petite boutique – with a stripey halter dress.
I love nautical stripe everything.
They are so happy.
So classic.
So French.
Alas, the shop was ferme – closed pour vacances – for vacation.
Wasn’t meant to be.
Then, the next day…voila.
Poof – the same exact dress and shop window as I wandered aimlessly along in Le Marais.
And as I spoke to the shopkeeper, what a lesson I learned in the new Parisian fashion trend.
Metamorphose.
A dress one summer day.
The perfect accessory the next.
From shrug to scarf to wrap to dress.
