If you come to Paris as a single female, make this your first stop. Every male waiter and captain is dressed like 007 and ready to serve.
The Costes Brothers always make for good design, married with cutting edge cool like you have never seen before.
Not to mention, la vue.
Perched ontop the roof of Pompidou, you have one of the best bird’s eye views of the city you could imagine.
(The best view in the entire city of Paris is from the towers of Notre Dame, fyi. However, that requires much climbing up tipsy century old spiral stone stairways, and there isn’t an ice cold cocktail ontop.)
The Gambas Roti with Coconut Milk Rice was simply sublime.
To sit and feast among the romantic rooftops of Paris, in the flickering twilight, as the amber lights illuminating Notre Dame, La Tour Eiffel, Sacre Coeur, and everything in between turn on and glow in simultaneous unison, certainly is the perfect way to toast a bientot a Paris.
