The French Family Dinner at the home of Dominique Malet is now but a delicious memory.
She is simply the most gracious host, charismatic and charming chef, and loving, thoughtful mother.
Every moment was such a pleasure in her warm, tres chic home filled with gorgeous art (many done by her children), her talented husband’s photography (we were both in the NYC Christmas blizzard – you should see his oversize Upper West Side snow shots, they were stuck for an extra week!) and a cookbook collection and kitchen to rival the best of them.
Just look at this perfect little hors d’ouevre – just one of her many – that was so delicious and yet so very pretty.
Cucumbers filled with fromage, currants, herbs…
