Walking to my favorite neighborhood comfort food haunt, Wishbone, I was amazed to witness the magic this calendar date brings to bear:

The streets of Southport are covered with those in colorful Mardi Gras and head to toe Green Shamrock madness.
It is worth everyone popping out for a spell to see up close and in person.
But back to my inspiring morning photo – and Wishbone’s mouthwatering menu.
I have to share my secret Southport energy fix.
Wishbone squeezes fresh Cucumber Lemonade, shakes it over ice till it’s nice and frothy, and serves it in an iced fountain glass.
Belly up to the counter, sip one down, and feel yourself recharge.
Then, back to work.
We have Carnavale Rio Tuesday night for 600 guests…and have thousands and thousands of ostrich plumes to design into towering, colorful decor.
