I immediately chose Osteria Cotta from Eater.com (my go to site for all dining decisions) for one reason and one reason only.
The sole photo showed candlelight pouring from every surface – chandelier, sconces, candleabra…
It was so gorgeous.
So romantic.
I had to see it for myself.
They light the huge, 4 foot round candle chandeliers inside the main bar by lowering them with pulleys, before they open each night.
Good ol’ manpower.
Good old fashioned candles with flickering flames throwing off soft, warm lighting and casting beautiful, mood setting shadows.
Just what every party needs – they have perfected.
