A Plate Apart

A Plate Apart

Last night I was lucky enough to attend the screening party of a new pilot, A Plate Apart at Kendall College.

It is a wonderful new concept and show bridging the always exciting Top Chef style cooking challenges with deserving culinary students working their way through school, hoping to gain an apprenticeship with the talented Michael Kornick and fabulous executive chef Erick Williams at one of my personal Chicago favorites – MK.

They were naturals on screen – so focused on bringing to light our great city of Chicago, pairing talented students deserving a fantastic career to match their deep seeded passions for cooking, and absolutely should have their own television show.

Good luck to A Plate Apart!

This show is stupid..the concept if fine but there was no cooking if it is a cooking show all you saw was there behind story. It was boring I feel asleep watching this. There needs to be some sort of twist that is actually intresting. If this show ever does go on air it will not make it and I am sure about it. I know people in the bussiness and they told me the same thing. Then I feel bad for the people who have to stay with this show even when there doing other things such as finishing there education and cant because they have to travel for this stupid show. Some cant leave becuuse they have family to take care of or are vital to the bussiness they are working for. Also some are getting married so that cant happen with a show in the works. So good luck stupid show..not.ha ha ha ha
