Foodie Fun

Foodie Fun

This Barneys holiday campaign is just pure fun – have you seen it?

"Have a Foodie Holiday" is in catalog, web and even window – in the Union Square store in San Francisco.

I love the 3D rosy cheeked Thomas Keller, surrounded by his visions of localvore farm to table "sugarplums".

Not to mention the charicature saute pans framing the display – from Mario to Paula to Ina.

I think it’s now official – and I can say it outloud instead of just thinking it…

Happy Holidays are here again!

Holiday heaven

Here is the best Thanksgiving dish I could ever celebrate…

Roasted Yams
Goat Cheese
Cilantro Pesto
Pickled Onions
Arugula

Wow!

I am so adding this to my holiday menu lineup.

Bi-Rite does it yet again.

Tartine time?

Tartine time?

Landed for breakfast in San Fran, and drove straight to Tartine for a giant black pepper thyme gougeres.

Much to my chagrin…

Look at the line for take away!

Eeeek!

Off to plan b Bi-Rite I go for a legendary grilled baguette sandwich.

Please lord have my chocolate pb cupcakes.

Fingers crossed.

Want to know the very best thing about a long west coast flight?

Next to the incredibly exciting new San Francisco project I begin tomorrow…

Four hours of inspired holiday entertaining and decor research.

If you have the muscle to carry thirty-ish pounds of mags – all in the name of a day’s work.

And if you have the patience to watch your high level security bag check due to suspicious paper quantity contents.

Which of course, lucky for me, I do.

Dazzling Dress Up

Dazzling Dress Up

Look at this – va va voom!

This is Erin’s absolutely exquisite dancing dress.

I can hardly put it down. Its flirty couture.

The feathers. The beading. The matching silver chainlink sparkling Manolos.

Oh my.

To die!

Le Menu

Le Menu

Such a lovely, classicly designed menu card.

Isn’t a pretty, elegant menu such a wonderful way to dress up the placesetting?

You can showcase your brand new just married monogram at the top, detail the courses for all of the foodies (and food allergies), and yet again showcase your personal style as a couple.
