I have been counting down to this weekend for SO LONG. The wedding is a four day fete, complete with every possible decadent detail from start (Friday rehearsal and dinner celebration) to finish (marvelous Monday Bon Voyage Brunch).
I am busy putting the finishing touches on the surprise multi media Rehearsal Dinner “I Do Film”, featuring our incredibly romantic engagement video/photo shoot (as seen above). The uber talented Matt and Lori at I Do Films created a gorgeous movie, which we are combining with a sweet series of these lovely Avery House photographs by the ever adorable Matt and Stevi.
We are recreating this glorious Drake Hotel petite sweets bar at the reception on Sunday, complete with luxurious linens from Windy City Linen, silver tiered tea tray collections from Tablescapes Party Rental, and sweet Icing Shots from Sugar Bliss Cake Boutique, custom wedding palette colored Macarons and a special surprise for the groom from Vanille Patisserie , gilded and marbled designer chocolate candies to melt in your mouth from The Cocoa Room, and so much more.
French inspired details, from custom silhouettes, to gilded museum quality frame collections, to sparkling crystal gilded vases, to suspended floral chandelier, and thousands of white, ivory and champagne Hydrangea, Garden Roses, Orchids, Dahlia, and more…
We are holding our breath.
We cannot wait for tomorrow to come.
