Day two…
A city favorite – Fred’s at Barney’s New York has an impeccable salad menu. It is almost impossible to choose…there are nine divine combinations and the dressings alone make my mouth water. French mustard, dijon mustard balsamic, mustard lemon, mustard garlic mayonnaise, and green goddess to name a few.
My pick is always Mark’s Madison Avenue, served al fresco in the spring sun overlooking the haute couture corner of Oak and Rush and a side of Lake Michigan.
Madison Ave serves up chopped everything – crunchy lettuces, peas, carrot, celery, radish, cucumber, pepper, tomato and tasty imported italian tuna in a zesty balsamic dressing.
All that…and a delicious view too.
