Wrapper on…or off?, originally uploaded by Debi Lilly of aperfectevent on flickr.
These new soaps are going to be the prettiest new gift, favor, and store display…just to name a few.
I have only one dilemma – will I ever actually remove the paper and jewel wrap, and use the soap? It looks like an exquisitely wrapped petite present, and even in heavy floral and brocade papers smells like the very breath of spring.
These are so perfect for any shower (from bridal to baby), ladies luncheon and every possible special occasion this season…and next.

These vintage hued mercury glass egg topiary cones are my second favorite purchase at the Gift Show.
One word – yummy!
These will arrive just in time for our March/April windows…I can hardly wait for spring to arrive.

My favorite showroom, K and K, is always a dripping, decadent garden of eden. I am quite sure I have never left the showroom without ordering 5x more than I have room for in the store.
This season was no exception – amazing new rosemary in both helix and cones, romantic statuary straight out of the gardens of Versailles, and of course 2010 holiday decor to die for (I bought through summer, but couldn’t stomach ordering for fall and winter yet!).
Come visit us mid Feb – when the lovely lush layers of spring and summer begin to arrive – straight off of the trucks.
Greatest new Guest Book, originally uploaded by aperfectevent.
Hands down, the most common wedding trend I am always asked about is "what is the best new guest book idea?"
Well ladies and gents, here it is! Straight off the recycled press, this Wish Heart Box is a lovely heart shaped keepsake filled with scrolled papers, to be filled with guest wishes to the bride and groom. We can vary the color palette of the scrolls to your wedding colors, carrying through the threaded color story into each and every detail.Best of all – the scrolls arranged in the box mimic daisies with colored centers. Proving once again…no detail is too small.

I am obsessed with vintage mercury glass. Apparently so are all the showrooms – as "new" yet beautifully aged mercury glass was everywhere, at every turn.I love to mix the petite vases and urns with taller candlesticks, juleps, loving cups, cakestand, and every possible shape and size.
I have so many weddings and parties this season with this centerpiece collection design – and I am counting the days till we begin designing these timeless, elegant floral decor details. Surrounded by dozens of flickering candles – the ambience is as warm and wonderful as it gets.

I think it goes without saying…Every event looks better with chaise seating.
Outdoor garden parties are the season’s best dressed soirees with these cabana chaise lounges, in crisp blue and taupe stripes. I can picture oversize lanterns scattered about, filled with gardenia pillar candles and overflowing with garden rose petals.
Yet they would look just as stunning indoor, in a whitewashed warehouse, with ocean blue and taupe lounge furniture accents creating a relaxing "sit and sip a spell" vibe.
Time to open up the rooftop terrace project we keep dreaming about ontop A Perfect Event …
